What is vintage leather?
Vintage leather does not correspond to any specific type of leather. The term refers either to new leather that looks like old leather or to new leather that quickly shows signs of wear.
Often, these are smooth or suede leathers, pull-up leathers, or semi-nubucks that are treated with a special wax coating after tanning or dyeing. As a result, their surface texture changes relatively quickly with regular use, giving the leather products an antique look.

Properties and Care of Vintage Leather
Irregular coloring and scratches are characteristic of vintage products. This effect is intentional and desired by customers. Leather of this type has a pleasantly soft, full-bodied feel. However, due to its nature, it is particularly susceptible to stains and requires regular care.
